Golf Cart Batteries

....so, for whatever reason I just up and decided to check that my cart/batteries were plugged into the charger, and they weren't (our two labs stay in the garage, come in and out, etc..you get the picture. Probably kicked the charger loose).

Cart is dead, but so is the charger. The volts were kicking up and on like they usually do.

Batteries are (or I should say WERE) in good working condition. Never had any problems with them or the cart ('07 Club Cart).

How bad of a situation am I looking at..anybody know? Should they charge back up? Looking at a new set?

Shoot me straight. Prepared for the worst. I'm a boat owner, so I get it (crap, and a lot of it..happens). :lol2:

Refill the water in the batteries, just above the plates in them. Make sure all of the connections are sounds, get the charger fixed and see if that fixes it. If they're the original batteries, it might be time to replace them. That's getting towards the end of average battery life for private carts.
