Great to have Hughes and Bakik (double & single) back after a tough weekend.

Have to check the paper tomorrow, but I think Hughs threw a 1 hitter.

Ryan Hughes threw a lot of pitches and worked out of some serious jams created by a couple of errors and some BB's to get the complete game shutout. Good clutch hitting by Vince Murray with a double and 2 singles and good hitting and alert base running by Jerrod Babik with a double and single. Nice shot by Micah Foreman to get the game-winning RBI in the bottom of the first. Harkins threw very well for Conner and has good stuff and a live arm.

Very nice win for the Raiders, Connor has a nice ball Team. And as far as I know Harkins is their ace. Still alot of ball to be played, but I still say Cov Cath, Beechwood, and Ryle, are the cream of the crop.

I've seen quite a few teams play this year and I'd have to say I was most impressed with those three.

Beechwood and Covcath are solid up and down through their lineup.

Ryle is very solid defensively but i dont think they're up to par just yet with Covcath and Beechwood.

Right now i feel Covcath is the top team. But back to the thread, this is a very nice win for the raiders and should be a confidence booster.
