What grade is Jerica Kelsch in? Really liked her game, very skilled player.

Skinner was the leading scorer for GRC but only played 15 minutes and 9 seconds. Was in foul trouble. Elizabeth Haridman also was in foul trouble and only played 16.minutes and 44 seconds.

Fouls were GRC 22, Augusta 13

Always great to see my friend Goldie!

Thought it was a much better second half for the Cards than the first. Great to see them advance and get the rematch with Scott that they have been looking forward to.

Big shout out to Augusta. Great team, great fans.

She is a senior. Hit the game-winner in OT against Bracken in the district semis. Was Augusta's leading scorer (I think) against Mason County in the district final with 11.

Steve Foley/[email protected] Rogers Clark senior guard Paige Taylor, left, looks to make a pass as Augusta senior Jerica Kelsch defends during the first half of Tuesday’s 10th Region Tournament game at Norton Gymnasium. The Lady Cardinals defeated the Lady Panthers, 68-47, and will face Covington Scott in the tournament semifinals at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Norton Gymnasium.

Clark senior and Miss Basketball finalist Sandra Skinner led three Clark players in double figures with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Paige Taylor followed with 12 points and Katylynn Williams added 11. All three seniors provided a spark for the Clark at various stages of the game.

“They stepped up and had some big moments when they needed to,” Graham said. “They played like seniors should and led us there for a little bit. Paige competed and played hard the whole game and Katylynn hit shots. Sandra came out tight and we got her relaxed a little bit and she played better down the stretch.”
