With Josh's improved strength and work ethic, I can see him earning a starting position on the D-line, probably nose. He looked great in the spring game and just a junior to be. Ryan Baldwin(SR) will most likely return to his D-line spot and then you have Chase Richardson at DT-DE (Soph), Nathaniel Dials(JR) and Coty Conley(SR) at DE.

 

And then you have a couple of young men who had not played since M.S. who have a great deal of potential that came out for spring ball. I was impressed with the Combs kid in the spring game. Big, strong and quick, looks like a D1 football player.

 

I think theres a whole lot to be optomistic about for 2006!

OMG he was the FB in front of Blume!

I thought he had maybe the best game against Ashland last yr

 

He did have a great game at Ashland, but he played that way every week. We just had to us him more against Ashland. Blume was pretty much contained in the first 2 and 1/2 quarters.
