BigVMan23 Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Haven't been posting our scores lately, but just had to vent on this one. We (Fox Creek) went 11-32 from the free throw line last night. Missed 21 free throws. How does that happen? Two of my big men missed 3...count them 3, wide open uncontested lay ups. What the? Another one missed 6-7 layups/drives at the rim. Several horrible mental mistakes at very inopportune times and allowing a First Baptist player to look like Stephan Curry didn't help either. But even after all of that, we still had the game won in regulation and OT and spit it all away. Not to take anything away from FB, they played hard and did what they had to to pull out the win, was also on their home court and they had the crowd on their side. And after playing horrible in the 1st quarter and getting down double digits my kids fought back and played hard...just didn't play good. Luckily that was just the last regular season game for our league. Tournament for us starts Tuesday. First league games we have lost in 2 years. The kids now know they can be beat. Might have been a wake up call for them. I hope it was anyway.
