Tonight the Whitley Colonels played a double header against across town rivals the Williamsburg Yellow Jacket in their first district games. Whitley Came away with both wins making them 2 for 2 in district play.:thumb:

I thought these games would be much closer. W'burgs depth issues on the mound may have caught them tonight against their crosscounty rivals!

I'm sure the pitching depth hurt them but, they also had multiple errors in the field and the Colonels played a tough defense and were hot at bat....
