Estill County Starting QB Trevor Jones committed to Morehead State this afternoon in the Estill County Cafeteria.

Trevor only got 3 seasons at Estill due to a torn ACL in the very first game of his sophomore season. It's hard to come back from a torn ACL injury but Trevor came back better than ever.

Once he returned from Injury Trevor helped guided the Engineers to a 5-6 and a playoff game since 2010. Trevor came back even better in the 2014 season, leading the Engineers to one of it's best seasons in school history (that I'm aware of) at 9-3 with big wins over Garrard County and Mason County.

As a freshmen, Trevor rushed for 349 yards on 62 carries. Completed 30/70 passes for 387 yards, 4 TD's and 1 INT. On defense Trevor had 86 total tackles.

As a junior, Trevor rushed for 1180 yards on 148 attempts, completed 100/201 passes for 1351 yards, 13 TD's, 9 INT's

As a senior, Trevor rushed for 1601 yards on 188 carries 25 TD's, completed 61/117 passes for 1017 yards, 11 TD's and 2 INT's. On defense Trevor had 110 tackles with 51 of them being solo

Trevor is also the main horse that runs the Engineers basketball team.

Congrats Trevor, well deserve!!!

Outstanding player. Glad to see that he's going to Morehead and becoming an Eagle. Great combination of playing close to home and being on an up and coming team. Best of luck to the young man.
