2014 Junior Year Highlights - Landon Young highlights

Landon Young, 2016 Lafayette lineman, commits to Kentucky football team

Still in the thick of its class of 2014 recruiting, the University of Kentucky football team added a commitment on Friday from a Lexington player who just finished his freshman year of high school is still more than 2 1/2 years away from the day he would sign.

Lafayette High School two-way lineman Landon Young – an apt last name for a player making such an early college decision – committed to the Wildcats, their first pledge for 2016 and one of the few in the country.

Man I just saw Drake Jackson's highlights and I was more impress with him than L. Young. Jackson is down right nasty in the trenches. And did you all see how he finishes the plays? He pancakes his man and loves the way he goes down field looking to block someone. WOW! Don't get me wrong, L Young is a fine linemen and will take both on my line any day.

Jackson is the number one, or two, guard in the country, depending on what service you are looking at. Young is in the top 20, or so. Both are very good linemen and both are good gets for UK.
