Augusta 66 Ludlow 55

Featured Replies

Final from the Panthers' Den.

Augusta wins their 2nd straight and improves to 11-6. Connor Maddox leads the way with a career high 33 points and scored his 1,000th point along the way. Camryn Snapp finished with 19 and Owens Crawford added 10.

Is it true that there were 20 fouls called against Ludlow and only 2 at the end of the 3rd qtr?

I don't have the book but I do know that Augusta only had 1 foul in the first half. I'm thinking Ludlow had 7 at the break. Augusta is a mostly small, non-aggressive team that just doesn't foul much. When I asked Coach Hinson about that he said he wished we fouled more than we do because that would mean we played more aggressive.

All I know is a very reputable person and he would not exaggerate. I know its a tough place to play and you shouldn't expect to get the calls but it sounds to me like there was a major discrepancy.

Augusta has a nice team and IMO could knock off some 10th Region foes as they head into the Districts. Congrats on the win.
