Nice game by East Carter, they hit the ball very well. Central played well but they are very young and very inexperienced but I cant remember them making an error. They started 3 freshmen and an 8th grader, so that is something to be pleased with. They will get better as the season rolls on and they get a chance to start using their field to practice on. Pregame was the first round of infield that they have had all season due to field renovations, and Blanton has only had 4 days of practices due to Central playing in the Sweet 16. East Carter is well coached and will do well in the 16th this year. Congratulations.

I am glad to hear that JC played well with that young team on the field. There is no experience like playing games, so I am sure they will come along nicely this year. Who else will be pitching this year besides Fyffe and Blanton?

Plummer and Conley will certainly be in the rotation. Conley pitched 5 innings of shutout ball tonight before giving up two unearned runs in the 6th. He didnt walk anyone and struck out six. Eagles are young and made some errors, but this will improve with experience.
