OHS knocked off the defending 2A champs in Illinois by winning the championship of the Eldorado Christmas Tournament tonight. The Devils looked sloppy at times and were playing without starting point guard sophomore Jacoby Harris. Darrion Morrow stepped up and made some big shots for OHS. Justin Miller and Aric Holman also made the all tournament team. OHS will need to clean up the mistakes if they want to make a push for the Kentucky state championship in March. I love Eldorado's gym, as it's a throwback seats all around the floor kind of gym. The place was packed everygame, and that speaks to the passion of high school basketball fans in Southern Illinois.

 

Congrats to the Devils for representing Kentucky, and I can't wait to see them play Apollo on Friday!

Attended this game as I live nearby here in Illinois , unbelievable atmosphere standing room only...Owensboro had approximately 20 fans Harrisburg at least 2000 to 2500..Harrisburg rain threes all night long Owensboro took all their best punches and came out on top. Miller and Holman 17 and 18 points each.. came to play..Harrisburg had won the previous four championships..great win and great experience for OHS going foreword.
