The Lady Braves won in convincing fashion Saturday in the first round of the Carolina Invitational in Charleston, South Carolina beating Beaufort H.S. 61-39. The report I got from the coaching staff was this; the team got off to a slow start shooting and only shot 31% for the game but had 34 offensive rebounds (59 total) that allowed them to shoot 83 shots in the game. They led by 11 at the half and won by 22. They also forced 34 turnovers in the game. Macy Wright led with 12 pts, 7 Rebs, 3 assists and 3 steals. Shelby Harmeyer was next with 10 pts, 9 Rebs, 7 assists. Madisyn Ruebusch had 9 pts and 8 Rebs.

That's a good win for grant the Harmeyer girl is really good and only a freshman..

She is doing well this year. She's currently on the radar of the University of Maryland.
