Junior guard Ansley Davenport scored seven points in the fourth quarter to seal Newport Central Catholic's 72-64 win over Scott on Wednesday.

 

Davenport led all scorers with 21 points.

 

Senior guard Michaela Ware added 15 points in the Thoroughbreds' win.

 

The Eagles were paced by freshman guard Anna Clephane's 15 points, leading four Scott players in double figures.
