GRC's Sandra Skinner had 27 points. Proving she is the best player in the 10th.

Congrats to the Cards! Great way to get the win to open the season!

Keep up the good work!

“I was disappointed, we made a lot of mistakes,” Graham said. “We’re a much-better team than what we showed. I told the girls that we set our standards high and hopefully they set their standards high. We’ve got some work to do. We’ll take an ugly win over a pretty loss anytime, I guess.”

Clark senior and Virginia Commonwealth signee Sandra Skinner led four players in double figures with a game-high 27 points. Skinner scored 14 of those in final eight minutes after being held scoreless in the third frame. Skinner was 13 for 21 from the field and just missed a double-double with eight rebounds. Skinner also had a steal and a blocked shot.

Paige Taylor followed Skinner with 11 points, followed by Lauren Welsh and Kaytlynn Williams with 10 points each. Williams connected on three of Clark’s four 3-pointers.

Great way to start the season!

Scott Co is very young this year. The good thing is, their players that scored 18 & 17 are both 8th graders.
