Did Trinity sub in their JV kids? I watched them in June and Szabo seemed to try and play everyone no matter what the situation. I'm guessing that a 20 point lead in a game you know you could win by 40 is probably that type of situation.

2 close scrimmages... Rocks are going to have a tough season, but I think they will be up to the task

To say they will have a rough season because of 2 close scrimmages is a little harsh in my opinion. 1 of those was against a very good team. The other really depends on how it became close. Did he sub after leading big and it became close or were his top players still in and the lead was squandered. Those are huge differences. The real game on Tuesday vs Jeffersonville should let us know where they are at at this point.

Trinity will play a lot of games this year that appear close. Reason being, they're a defense first team. They stop you before they worry about scoring. That's been their MO for years. It won't change this year.
