SportsGuy41017
Has anyone ever been to an Absolute Action MMA event? I may head over, not sure yet. If I go not sure on which ticket prove range I would get. How were their prices in the past? I'm sure being at the BOK it's increased.
UK#1fanisback
Yes they usually have pretty good fights.
SportsGuy41017
Since it looks like what I posted in my last post is correct, that the prices are much higher due to being at the BOK, and that many people didn't know much about them, I decided to order the. UFC event for Friday night. It will be interesting to see what draw they get at the BOK. It's a nice venue, but would need a big draw to just break even. I had to delete them from FB, 52 post yesterday, Thursday, is a bit too much. Over 20 of them advertising a contest to win free tickets which the winners where supposed to be announced "later" Thursday night, it's 2:40am Friday right now and no winners posted. SportsGuy41017
I'm going to guess there will only be a couple of hundred people there tonight.
KYSports
The set up was for just over 1000 seating and a near sell out, At 745pm there were 122 tickets left at the box office, The event page listed all the ticket winners as well did the facebook page. Prices started at $12 for NKU students and $27 was the next lowest ticket price up to $61 for a front row seat (first 3 rows sold out in pre sale). All seats were floor seats as the bowl seats were not opened for the first show, The next show is looking to be in Feb where the lower bowl seating will be opened up to accommodate more fans. Over the past 4 years AAMMA has done a December show as a charity event to give back to the local kids in the area by offering $10 tickets with a new toy donation and followed up the event with the next day hosting a private catered luncheon with those kids who were at the show free the night before to present them with toys and give them a chance to meet the fighters they saw the night before, Those December events for whatever reason had always been the lowest attended shows by local fans so for AAMMA to have the turnout they did last night was a huge success and i cant wait to see what 2015 brings as with having an exclusive partnership with The Bank of Kentucky Center I can only see it growing better and better each show! UK#1fanisback
How many people did the AAMMA use to draw at the Drawbridge? At the Turfway MMA fights would draw a couple 100 people.
