I have no problem with a team holding the ball. High school does not need a shot clock.

 

I didnt say that high school needed a shot clock...holding the ball takes away the excitement of the game.

I think it smart. Hopper wanted to got into halftime with at least a 7 pt. lead. If LIttle converted the shot they would be up 9, and in a pretty good postion. You will see this move a lot from Tony Hopper. Make Mason play D and get tired. You be surprised how many wide open layup they will get while running this type of offense.

I saw Southwestern do the same thing to Mason County in the 5/3 back in December. Mason got frustrated and either gave up an easy shot or fouled and sent SW to the FT line.
