Talk amongst yourselves.....

Can't wait for the groin pull update.....can only provide what was provided in text........

Two kids who had good games were Dixie's keeper and Ben Pohlabeln for CCH. Not sure what Dixie's keeper's name is but he's very solid. Good hands, doesn't give up rebounds and good instincts. He had some nice stops.

CCH started a little slow I thought and the intensity level was not where it should have been. They played better as the game went on and had a lot of possession. Dixie did threaten a few times from through balls and as a result of some silly CCH fouls. 12 minutes in Pohlabeln executed a very nice header off of a Bryce Day corner to make it 1-0 CCH. Pohlabeln pushed forward again on a long throw by CCH that gets headed out of the box.......passed back in by Ryan Massie and Pohlabeln puts it in to make it 2-0 CCH at half. Second half about 20 mins in Ballow crosses to Kenney to make it 3-0 on a nice header. Pohlabeln makes it 4-0 a few minutes later for the hat trick on a Litzler corner. Adam Flynn finishes the scoring off a Nick Jacobs scoring for the final 5-0 score.

So-so grade for CCH in this game in my opinion. I just don't see the intensity level where it needs to be and they will need that the next game if they want to advance.

Looking forward to Cov Cath v NCC on Thursday. I think it's shaping up the be the match of the season.

Not too surprised. Dixies keeper is indeed strong but Cov cath is very disciplined and well coached. I presume they will be one of the final 16 teams.

Congrats to CovCath. Sounds like they took care of business in workman like fashion. Should be a great matchup Thursday night at Tower Park.

CCH Boys - Please avenge the loss of 2012 to NCC!!! You deserve it!

Dixie's keeper was Ben Riggs, a senior.
