groinpull Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Senior night for the Colonels and several seniors got on the board. Parker Kenney with 2, Patrick Ballow with 2, Eric Schutzman with 1 and Jacob Litzer with 1. I think I have that right. Simon Kenton gets a late free kick from about 25 yards and puts it in for their score.
Futbolfan Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Wow. Was not expecting this score. Congrats to cov Cath on their senior night though.
w2848 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Looks like the Cov Cath boys are fit and healthy again. Nice result for senior night. Well done, boys.
AliasJK Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Saw another CovCath game last night. Wasn’t really much of a game. Sorry Simon Kenton. Really could/should have been worse. I would say Ballow didn’t have the impact compared to the earlier games I saw. Putting two first half shots right to the goalie, but I was rewarded with a treat by him in the second half as he lifted a pass to himself off of a bouncing through ball over the charging goalie, and casually slid it in for a goal. Kenney had a very good game winning most balls in the middle. His second goal was very good - powering the ball along the ground from the right side of the goal past the reach of the goalie and inside the left post. I understand it was senior night, but would like to have seen more of Day.
G1 Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Covington Catholic controlled the ball. Which is what matters.
Offsides Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Covington Catholic controlled the ball. Which is what matters. It's not a sufficient condition as we learned last year. (and several times this year)
