groinpull Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Groinpull, Did you miss another one? No post? Sorry, was out of town. Doesn't sound like I missed much. Who scored for the Colonels?
Oldtimebaseball84 Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 (edited) Had guests there. Hope this is correct..... This one saw lots of CCH players contributing. I believe 6 different scorers for CCH. Not even going to try to do all of the assists because I know I will miss someone. Goals by.......Kenney, Day, Ballow, Stava (PK), Voet, ...missing one...please, help.... CCH had possession all game on this one. Conner had a key player go down early in the first half. He was able to return later (Good.) CCH played 4 goalies for the clean sheet, but I beleive there were 0 Conner shots on goal. CCH starters finally in together for about 8 minutes midway through the first half....good to see them on the field. Conner played hard and clean but just didn't have the horses to compete. They did have a few of opportunities, I can remember 3, on runouts, but shots went wide or were mishit. Can only remember one time a CCH Keep went to ground and that was the starter to come out to snag a cross beyond the penalty strip. Clean game, played hard by both. One penalty in the box resulted in a PK and yellow against Conner, but nothing vicious. Good team win for the Colonels. Edited October 1, 2014 by Oldtimebaseball84
Yellow Card Posted October 1, 2014 Author Posted October 1, 2014 Park Hills My bad... Thanks for correcting this offsides
Oldtimebaseball84 Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 That's right......my apologies.......a combination of Dayquil and Halls cherry cough drops. It was a very nice run from the center defender position for about 30 yards and then he buried a rocket from about 20 yards out. Right before that his bro Adam had a nice headball off a cross that was on goal but saved by the keep........
