A nice match being held at PLD tonight, neither has lost to a KY squad this year and they are ranked #2 and #3 in the latest Maher Rankings.

Let's here it from some Dunbar and Henry Clay posters. Tell us about your teams.

Both teams have been consistently scoring against good competition. It would be nice if they reported stats so you could see how their scoring is distributed. For example, PLD's Ricki Clemente was their leading scorer last year as a sophomore with 25. Is he playing well and scoring this year also? KHSAA promotes posting stats for the benefit of the kids (and theoretically imposes a fine per game that you don't report stats you otherwise keep). Does PLD really not keep track of goals and assists?

Agree 100%.... Would love to hear how some of the best teams/players around the state are doing.

2-1 Henry Clay, but will be a battle. I may drive down for this match, clemente, is nasty but I believe HC has a few guys that are equally good.

The match will be played at Dunbar but I believe Henry Clay's back line and depth will be the difference. I'll say Blue Devils win 2-1.

I doubt either coach will show their entire hand tonight since it is possible that these teams will face each other in a few weeks at the region 11 tournament. These teams know each other well as they are both loaded with club players who play together year round.

Thomas Ueland is Henry Clay's best player. He committed to Notre Dame earlier this year. Henry Clay has a boat load of talented kids. Jevic Bosele and Colin Rose very strong at midfield and Logan Cox and Chris Hunt are very good defenders.

Ricky Clemente is having another good goal scoring year for Dunbar. Although Dunbar does not publish their individual player stats, I understand that Clemente has at least 15 goals so far this season. Alex Lewis, Luke Norris, Tyler Joy-Brandon and Conner Roberts have also been very effective.
