Estill County 49, Jackson County 7

Engineers made the trip over to the next county to take on the Generals and former Engineer, Russ Shearer.

Both teams (Estill would receive) would get 1 first down before having to punt. Jackson County, however would be the first to strike first as they’d take the ball down the field and score on a 2 yard run by Cody Byrd. Tristen Moore would make it 7-0 Jackson County with the extra point kick. It would stay 7-0 Generals going to the second quarter.

That would change quickly and be the down fall for the Generals as Estill County would put 28 in the quarter, scoring came on 4 touchdown runs from 37 yards (Chipper Hitchcock), 18 yard run (Dylan Spivey), 4 yard run (Trevor Jones) and a 11 yard run (Michael Abner). Two of Estill’s touchdowns came on muffed punts by Jackson County. Estill County took a 28-7 halftime lead.

Estill County would pick up in the third quarter right where they left off going into halftime as the Engineers would score twice in the third, 32 yard run (Trevor Jones) and a 1 yard run (Dylan Spivey), that would make it 42-7 Engineers going to the final quarter.

Estill County would add another score courtesy of Michael Abner’s 24 yard touchdown run, making it 49-7. With about 4-5 minutes left to play, instead of going 3 and out, the Generals decided to keep taking delay of game penalties to keep Estill from getting the ball.

Belfry not ranked?

The ones that are ranked are the ones that I'm doing this season, if I was covering Belfry then I'd have to say that they'd be either 1 or 2.
