EJHS Fan #98 Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Congratulations to East on a vey good win now it's one down two to go. Keep on rolling East let's take care of business against Southwestern. Let's hear what people thought of this game.
SLINK Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Pulaski Co. has no ball handlers. That is why the press was so effective against them last night.
notme Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 The press isn't what killed them it was the lack of team play. To much "I" not enough "we". Should be a good East jess. SW game. :fight:
SLINK Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 I thought Pulaski played to their strengths. Meeks and Perkins. And yes, the press did hurt them some.
notme Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 IMO should have went more Meeks. Also maybe they should have played the 8th grade kid more. He makes great choices with the ball. The big question for Pulaski now is where will perkins be next year?? :fight:
hector Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 The Perkins will be at PC next year. They will be a year older and a year wiser. If Ty learns the lesson from this years ordeal, and matures mentally, PC will be a regional contender next year. John Perkins is one of the best players in this region and will be again next year. The whitis kid will improve over the summer and will replace meeks. They had a little shooting guard that left the team at christmas that will probably be back next year. Chris muse will be able to run the point next year and the little Hines kid will be a nice player off the bench. If Mark Flynn continues as coach they could win the Region next year.
SLINK Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 The Perkins need to get their emotions under control. However, John seemed to be a lot calmer without Ty. They feed off each other so much. If they are emotionally under control next year, I see nothing but good things for the Maroons.
Boucher Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 The big question for Pulaski now is where will perkins be next year?? :fight: No, isn't the big question who will be Pulaski's coach next year?
notme Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 No, isn't the big question who will be Pulaski's coach next year? My crystal ball says Flynn. :fight:
SLINK Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 My crystal ball says Flynn. :fight: Probably should be. He has handled the whole situation with a lot of class, unlike his predecessor.
hector Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 I would say its Marks job if he wants it. He certainly handled everything well and has the respect of his players. Plus with the principal leaving, so goes a big thorn in the side of the program, and in the side of the Perkins.

You can't believe this mess was brought on or complicated by the principal, can you??? Without the principal all 3 boys sports (and maybe some girls sports) might have gone up in smoke. :irked: If you get my drift. :fight:
hector Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 No I don't think the ONLY thorn in their side is self inflicted. I Think the referees calling against them was somewhat self inflicted. But as a Kid when a principal punishes you by keeping you from playing an entire season in football, then the principal allows his own son to transfer and releases him to play immediately, then yes i can believe this mess was complicated by the principal. And I believe that the principal was a thorn in the side of the program, and he was a thorn in the side of the perkins. I think this "divorce" is in the best interest off all parties: football, basketball, baseball, the perkins, and the deatons. It is a win win situation.

A lot of athletes suffered at Pulaski Co.
notme Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 It was not a good situation. A lot of athletes suffered at Pulaski Co. And will for several years. :fight:
