Best Running Backs in Louisville

Featured Replies

I am interested to see who the BGP nation believes are the best Running Backs in Jefferson County. Please include the name and school and a reason why you believe your candidate deserves to be listed among the elite. The player's grade does not matter, just his potential impact on this season.

I'll throw one name out to begin the discussion. Donald Brooks from Trinity. He will be a senior and has experience, ability to catch, run and is a home run threat on every touch.

That's a good start, but we could add these players to the discussion:

Elis Cain - Male

Delvon Dunn - PRP

Jailen Reed - Trinity (Jr)

Michael Nero is a very good running back. You could also add Adrian Williams-Rolston from Western. Keyonte Parris from Doss is a nice running back as well. He was by far the leading rusher on his team last year as a sophomore with nearly 1,000 yards in 11 games.

Delvon Dunn is the younger brother of UL defensive tackle Brandon Dunn and is a beast. If PRP can develop a passing game, Dunn will be hard to handle.
