This was a hardfought game and the final score is not an indication of how close this game was. In Fact McCreary led by 4 the half. The raiders were on fire in the first half and shot lights out.

 

The warriors turned up the pressure in the 2nd half and caused some turnovers. Then Fothergill got hot on his way to a 35 point performance.

 

The Watts kid ( an 8th Grader) can really shoot the basketball, and will be a force to rekon with for the next 4 years. Has he missed a freethrow this year?

 

I think Coach Jones is a contender for Coach of the Year. He had his team ready to play.

 

Whoever draws McCreary in the region better bring their A game or they could find themselves upset.

Great game by both teams. Congrats to Coach Schulz and the Warriors on their District Championship. Whoever draws these two teams better be on top of their games in the 12th Region Tournament.

Congrats to Southwestern by winning their district and us at East look forward to playing you in Somerset.
