Red Bird had a 46-38 lead with just under 2:20 in the third, then hit the wall. North finished the quarter with a 9-0 run and pulled away from there.

What a game, I went there knowing that RedBird was a 30 point underdog, and they come out pumped up. Derek Davis hit at least 4 threes, if not more to keep the lead away from N.L. Red Bird was just not deep enough to finish...Good Job RedBird you left it all on the floor. Best they've played all year

Hats off to Red Bird, and a hard fought game. They obviously came in more ready to play than NL The Jags had no one that could stop Red Bird's Berry from driving to the basket. NL finally woke up, and their depth prevailed, pulling away in the fourth quarter.

It seemed like NL didn't play much defence at all...Allen stayed in Foul trouble most of the game, but Berry got in the middle anytime he wanted to and Davis got the shot off any time he wanted to until he got tired toward the end, RedBird had a chance at 3 threes right in a row when they were up by 7, if they would of made that little run I belive it would of sealed the game, but it gave us all somthing to cheer about, and I belive we shocked the NL players and fans a little.

Correct. North played very poor defense outside of their opening 8-0 spurt and the 31-8 run to close the game. All credit to Red Bird as I feel the score is certainly not indicative of how worried NL was in this game. Those guys poured it out, especially Fogleman, Berry and Davis, who each played all 32 minutes. In an oddball way, North being in foul trouble early hurt Red Bird more than NL because NL's starters were morning-fresh late in the third and early in the fourth when Red Bird's players really started to suck wind.

Great effort from Coach Wilson and his kids. I thought NL by 30 plus.

It's good to hear that redbird gave it their all they have alot of heart or do everytime we play them. Will you be at the 54th district championship BB89?

Good job Red Bird! I don't care if you guys lost. You guys played great. They just simply ran out of gas in the 4th quarter. North was running 10-12 players in all night long, while Red Bird played 7 the whole game. They gave it everything they had and they played good.
