Great game just turned out wrong for the Bearcats. Stats Howe 33, Tabor 18, Riley 9, Sharp 4, Mason 3, Livingood 2. WV Tungate 19, Daugherty 10, Lynn 9, Jones 8, Sommers 7, Hensley 6, Wombles 6, Roberts 2. That's a wrap.

Grant's killer B's (Boston and Bailey) too much for the Bearcats. Walton shot well in the first half (16-28) including 4-5 threes in second quarter.Game was 40-38 Grant at half. Grant pushed the lead out to 7 in the 4th quarter but Walton went on a run to take a 67-66 lead on a 3 with about 27 seconds left. Howe made shot and got fouled with 10 seconds to go. He made free throw for final margin. W-V got off two shots as time ran down but made neither. Adam Riley of Grant did nice job on Hensley. Daughtery not much of a factor. Tungate had a nice game for W-V with 19 including a three to tie the game at 64. Howe had 20 of Grant's 29 in second half. Grant won game at FT line 28-32 (87.5%)

Great ball game. Hate to see the seniors go out on a tough loss like this.

By far the best game walton played they did play as a team and they looked real good tonight just came up a little short. I just can not figure out why walton would not call a time out and set a play up at the end of the game. this team was a complete one eighty from the team that started the year wish it could of happened a little earlier in the season.

Just want to say to the seniors thanks for the memories. Even though this was a losing season it was your only one. Thanks to Josh Tungate, Reggie Hensley, Curtis Burch and Preston Wombles for sticking it out while alot of others didn't. Thanks Josh for proving that with hard work and dedication you could be a starter on anybody's team.

could not say it better if I tried.

I agree! He really did get a lot better in those two seasons. Great career for Hensley and Tungate.
