Ryle 101 Heritage Academy 36 (33rd District)

Featured Replies

This was a very lopsided game. Hats off to Heritage who played hard till the very end with class. Ryle's JV scored almost 64 of those points. including over 20 by Brandt who has a hand few of minutes in the regular season. Hard to tell a kid who never plays to not go out and play.

TL, are you signing your posts?

Yeah, I sign all my posts. Did it when I was a member here while working at MMI back in the day too. Sorry for any confusion.

You don't have to play any district games, you just automatically assume the lowest seed for the district tournament. What ever your opinion, there are several teams across the state that take this option.

I am sure they fully expected to lose by a large margin. And I certainly was not complaining about the score. At some schools, playing high school basketball is more about how you play the game than whether you win or lose, or about how much you lose by. A school always has the option of not playing in the district tournament. I am glad that most schools choose to play and compete as best they can.

I personally know the Heritage girls coach, he told me his girls fully expected to get the :poop: kicked out of them, but they were "tickled to death" to get the opportunity to play.
