The best four weeks of basketball start Monday at 4:30 EST when the St. Francis Wyverns take on the Portland Christian Eagles in the 25th district. These teams played on January 28 with the Wyverns, coached by former University of Louisville player Tony Williams, winning by 12. School enrollments for grades 9-12: St. Francis 150, Portland Christian 102. Winner plays Tuesday night against Manual (enrollment: 1875). I love the fact that we have one tournament for all schools, big and small.

I have a soft spot for St Francis, so, go Wyverns! They have to have the coolest mascot in the state! :D
