Posting has been removed from KHSAA, can anyone shed some light on the Central Hardin HC position?

 

Hired Tim Mattingly. He was the DC at Meade County and was also the HC at Washington County forv few years back in the early 2000's before Perry took over there.

CH has been yes. Well, I say Spread in formation only, they ran the crap out of it this year with some Zone, power like not other and old school counter trap.

 

Mattingly is a big defensive guy and comes from Meade County where they have spread it out some, but hang their hat on the Wing T/Bone; that's what they were this year.

Meade has always been a power offense run from multiple sets (bone, flexbone, wing-t...etc) They have spread it some, but it's usually been a change up pitch for them, not a mainstay. I would say his focus will be the defense and he will hire someone to run the offense. With the success they have had and the mentality of the kids and parents, he would do well to keep things on the offensive side similar to what they have been successful with for the past 8 years.

Mattingly was the Washington County coach directly in front of Perry.

 

Washington County hires Perry to follow Mattingly.

Central Hardin hires Mattingly to follow Perry.
