JokersWild24 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Sounds like a good one. I think these two meet up again in a few days.
JokersWild24 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 ^ Tuesday at Jackson. Would LOVE to see that one. It's one of the "mountain basketball" games that should be on fan's bucket lists. In the 13th, Clay-Jackson, North-South, South-Corbin, Harlan-Corbin (more in the early 90's) are good bets on rivalry games that will have an intense atmosphere.
JokersWild24 Posted February 16, 2014 Posted February 16, 2014 Spoke with some people back home, and this is kind of a mash-up from 2-3 different people that I asked about the game. Clay County: 1. Clay County played under control and with confidence, which apparently hadn't been the case so much as of late. 2. Trey Farmer is coming along nicely and his picked it up defensively, especially in regards to his intensity. 3. Jake Allen played well. 4. Chip McDaniel is Chip McDaniel. 5. Blake Smith is a really talented player whose name came up a few times. 6. Wes Wolfe had a good game defensively. Jackson County: 1. Starters are really good offensively, but don't get after it as well on defense.
