Well every team lays a egg once in awhile and GRC did second half last night. First half was a half of runs. Franklin went on a 18-0 run in the first quarter and part of the second. Then GRC went on a 14-2 run to end the half down only by 3 points. Second half was all Franklin Co. In the 3rd Coach H pulled all the starters and put in a new 5. In the 4th quarter with 4 minutes to go in the game and down 20 he put in his subs. Franklin Co subed 1 minute to go in the game. First time all year that GRC did not play defense the whole game and it showed. Not sure how many blocks Franklin had for the game but it was at least 7 or more. King had 22 points, Blanton 12 and several rebounds.

 

Doesn't get any easier for the Cards. This was the first of 4 games this week. Tonight Dixie Heights comes to GRC. Friday Grant Co will play the Cards. According to the radio announcers last night this game will be at the new high school in the PE gym. Saturday GRC will travel to Nicholas Co and play Campbell Co at noon.
