Warren Central might have some issues this year.

It's worse than you think - it was 58-57. Warren Central hit the first free throw with no time on the clock to win.

 

Define issues? This was a classic trap game. Beat them by 31 six days ago and have their biggest game left - Bowling Green - on Friday. I think they got caught peeking. Plus, credit South Warren for working on some things. They got destroyed by pressure in their game last Wednesday, but handled it like champs this game.

 

Though it certainly does confirm that Warren Central is not so overwhelmingly talented as to show up and just walk over any team they play. They need to come to work and they certainly can't allow any team to keep the pace as low as they did in this one.

DFire may have to post some of the calls from last night's game. I don't think the KHSAA fines for criticizing referees.
