Fairdale 75 Bullitt East 58

Final from Fairdale. Anyone have any details on this one? Wasn't Bullitt East one of the higher seeds in the LIT?

Caleb Longacre led the way with 28 pts, 6 assist, 5 steals. Cory Thomas had 23 despite foul trouble. Longacre took control early attacking to the basket. Honestly Fairdale was in control of this game throughout. Was up 73-51 before both teams subbed. East made some runs early in the 3rd and 4th but Fairdale answered each time. One of the Troutmans Rhett was limited due to ankle injury but on this night dont think it would have mattered. Fairdale was much quicker and seemed to really bother East with their defensive pressure. Fairdale has played a tough schedule. They have had a chance in every game. Tonight they put it all together and finished. Tough schedule paid off tonight. East will be fine. However, Their district will be tough. Not sure what seed they are but in same district as J-Town and Ferncreek.

East was the #1 rated team in the LIT...... That is 3 losses in a row for them with # 4 coming against Manual on Thursday.... As they start playing the quality 6/7th region teams, their weakness is exposed.... I understand Rhett Troutman being injured takes some from this team

As for district seeding, East & JTown plays Feb 4 to decide #1 seed in the district. Both teams already defeated WhiteField & Fern Creek.
