On game day if a girl is tardy for school is she eligible to play that night? If she has an excuse or a doctor slip does it matter? Is it a school rule or a KHSSA rule? I was told if a player is tardy to school on game day that they could not play that night? Just a question I wasn't 100% sure what the rule was?

I believe it's a school district policy. I know for us, I think if you're there more than half of the day and its the second half, you can play. I think it's like get there before 1030, but I could be wrong.

To add, with a dr's note for a planned visit, then I don't think there are any restrictions.

Up to school. Most have 1/2 day requirement. Also depends on reason. For instance a funeral a player could miss all day at our school.

Although at CC, it may depend on the letter your last name starts with.

School district policy. If a school permits you could miss entire day
