Final from Dry Ridge. The Conner Lady Cougars won a very hard fought game tonight against a very young and scrappy Grant County team. Once again the Lady Cougars were led by Super Sophomore Hunter Hendricks with 25 points. Conner jumped out to a 10 halftime advantage mainly on the hot shooting of Senior Brooke Maines who scored all of her 21 points in the 1st half. Special mention should also go to Sophomre Taylor Gambrell who continues to do an excellent job as the Lady Cougar point guard and chipped in with 7 points. Conner raises its record to 10 and 4 and takes on Dixie on Wednesday evening in Hebron in a makeup game that was rescheduled. Good win for the Lady Cougars!

Not going to make a prediction on this one but I believe it should be a very good game between two quality teams. I will be pulling for Coach Stamm and his Conner Lady Cougars!

Both teams are playing well. But with ND healthy now, I think I'd give them the edge. That's why they play the game.

 

I'd like to see the NCC/HC game tonight and this game on Saturday. But I'd probably be divorced if I was spending any of the free time that I do have out watching other kids play sports!
