Lexcath leads 22 to 12. 6:30 left in half.

29 -14 4 min to half.

Wow. This game is moving quickly. I didn't think it tipped until 7:30.

One thing I forgot to mention in the Predictions Thread: these two teams' presses won't bother each other as much as they bother other teams. Both practically run the same 2-2-1, 3/4 court pressure, so I'm sure the teams are used to practicing it, practicing against it, and each knows the ins and outs of it.

30-18 LAF on a Davis lay-in once the Generals beat LC's press.

Lexington Catholic looks like they are really spreading out Lafayette on the offensive end. Credit them for a nice game plan and making smart passes, then knocking down open shots.

36 to 20 at half.

That 3 falling for LC's Griffin could have been a dagger, as it would have pushed the lead to 15. Instead, Lafayette gets the rebound and Lucky Jackson is fouled. Big swing.

3 pointer off the inbounds from LAF's Cameron Greenup to cut the lead down to 12.

:10 second call on Catholic. First time Lafayette's pressure has seemed to bother them. Off the TO, Davis scores to cut it down to an 8 point Knights advantage.

Lafayette gets a stop and defensive rebound. They come down and Blakley gets an offensive rebound and is fouled. Full TO LC. 43-35, LC advantage. ~2:00 left in Q3.

43 to 35. Generals coming back. 2 min left in 3q.

Impressed by Lexington Catholic, especially the work on the boards by their smaller guys. I'd take Reese Ryan on my team any day.

Generals now on a 7-0 point run. The lead is down to 5 with a few seconds left in the 3rd, LC's ball.
