Holmes Highlights v Lloyd and Purcell Marian

For those wondering....

Bolden's highlights start at the 1:40 mark...his pass to Chames at the 2:15 mark was ridiculous.

Chames' highlights start at 0:37...a couple nice dunks, including a one hand tomahawk jam over a Lloyd defender.

McClendon's highlights start at 2:54....notice his improved shooting. That could be a problem for teams this year because of his quickness off the dribble. Can't play off of him anymore.

Thanks for the highlights Walter. :thumb:

If it isn't already evident, this Bulldogs team is loaded, deep bench and all. I have to give Booher and Listerman a whole lot of credit because they have obviously fine tuned a very highly spirited UNIFIED bunch into a TEAM that plays extremely well together no matter what 5 players are on the court at any given moment.

They are so completely in tune with each other's instincts, and appear to be a solid family of friends having a blast together. It really is a thing of beauty. The confidence level of all this early in the season is astounding, and it's apparent that Booher and Co. feel quite content in knowing that whoever they toss in the game at any given time is quite capable of getting the job done, and show no timidity about doing so.

That good time translates to keeping the fans entertained even during blowouts. Most of the time when a coach starts clearing a bench, people head for the exits. Not in the case of the Bulldogs. It's exciting to stick around to see what other talents they've got hidden all the way down at the end of the bench.

One thing is for certain for them is that this season promises to be a gem of one, and future seasons are looking pretty bright as well.

I can't award them the 9th Region Trophy just yet as they obviously still need to prove that they can get past NewCath's Fabulous Five, and by season's end the likes of a couple of Colonel teams that would like to have something to say about it too, but anyone who trusts in the benefits of having a deep and strong bench cannot deny that the Bulldogs have all the right elements in place this early in the goings that most coaches can only dream of.
