"Ryan went 14-for-21 for 163 yards in the win. Noah Mitchell led the Knights (8-3) with 65 rushing yards, two more than Russell Coutny had as a team.

Some notes from the game.

 

Noah Mitchell's 3 catches were all the more impressive since he was playing with casted hand after suffering a broken hand bone in last weeks game.

 

The Knights held a strong running Russell County team to 63 yards rushing. This comes after a negative 25 yard game against Rockcastle last week. The defense is peaking at the right time.

 

Sophomore Davis Rowady (#19) had two interceptions filling in for injured Kyron Snowden. Rowady now has 5 interceptions while seeing limited playing time for the Knights this season.

 

The Knights again spread around the scoring leveraging the multiple talents on offense. Marcelis Logan's TD run was impressive as he dodged a couple of tackles to get to the outside and then hit the after-burners. Its like watching a film in fast forward when he has open field.
