Fox Creek Christian (JV) 51 - Light Eagles (JV) 13

Featured Replies

Another good performance by the Fox Creek JV squad last night. Dominating defense early lead to several easy baskets. Full court pressure resulted in a lot of back court turnovers the first few minutes of the game until the press was called off, dropping back into a half court man. Daniel Whalen had another outstanding performance with 14 points and several assists and steals. The kid is all over the place and I play him on D that way, double teaming and getting steals from behind. Dalton Lewis also had 14 points and played good defense and Zack Rice chipped in with 9 and probably was right at double digits in rebounding.

Big Freshman Justin Richie could only muster 2 points after missing several easy putbacks and shots in the lane, as did super athletic lefty Simon Yount, who had 4 points. Both of these kids could and should have easily been in double figures but continue to miss easy, point blank opportunities. They both are going to have to shore that up once they take the court against better competition.

Beatdowns like this....no wonder Jimmy Pangallo isn't calling you back.
