I was able to watch their middle school teams play against Boyle County. In the 8th grade game they had a kid whose last name is Rode I believe. #22. Can anyone tell me anything about him? That kid is nice. I want to remember his name and follow him.

I've been saying for awhile that I don't think the regression of Lexington Catholic and the ascension of Lexington Christian is a solely coincidental.

Kyle Rode is probably who you are talking about. About 6-4 maybe. Plays AAU with Hoop Dreams. Really good player especially considering he's a 7th grader!

When you see players of his size at that age, they usually don't have that skill set. I could easily see him being the best player in his class (2019)

Same here. We were trying to figure out which of our players was going to guard him and we decided on our center. Next thing you know he is bringing the ball up the court. We switched defensive assignments immediately. Our guys had a hard time with him all night. He easily drew at least 20 fouls on 5 different players combined.
