Just got back for Cali yesterday, and I understand not everyone can go play softball there but I love it. Wish we could go there every week. It's the mecca of softball.

 

I would say we may have had up to 20 to 25 coaches at every game and most were high end BCS type schools.

 

For us travel ball junkies that's as good as it gets.

Stop rubbing it in! It's that time of year I begin to really dislike my husband....makes me think about what could've been!

I know what you mean about the I told you so, which also sucks...but I'm talking every year since I moved here from Cali, the hubby lives through some hell during cold weather!

Loved my trip out there about a decade ago. All we did was skateboard, surf and ride bikes. The pier at the beach is awesome. I'm sure the team had a blast.

I did not know you were from Cali, you don't seem to have that laid back Cali side to you!!

 

Its a different world out there for sure. We had a same sex wedding reception held at our hotel on Sat, and I had a couple adult drinks in the bar and the next thing I know I somehow got invited into the reception. I had a blast but some of the things you saw in there I don't think you would see in NKY!!
