North blisters the nets at a 64 percent clip (73 percent in the first half) and ends a month's worth of frustration in the process. It could've been a lot worse if not for Colby Brown's outstanding 27-point second half (34 total).

 

Justin Howard (22 pts), Shanade Allen (24) and Billy Carson (23) all were hot from the field. Howard hit five threes in the first half, and that opened up everything else for North.

Too bad there wasn't a better crowd there tonight to see them snap the 7-game skid. This tough schedule has been unkind to both the team and the fans, apparently.
