Basketball season for 2013/2014 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Perry County Central? Remember, please be constructive.

Braxton Beverly and Justin Johnson will make a nice 1-2 punch. They've played AAU ball together this summer, and have a season as high school teammates under their belts. How they adjust to Shannon Hoskins (who will be the third PCC coach in three years) could determine how far they go this season. It will be an interesting storyline to watch unfold.

Gone from last year is Austin Prey, who was a solid football and basketball player, and a heck of a student as well. Another question will be who steps up to replace his leadership and defensive presence.

PCC has the talent to take the region, and should battle Knott Central, Cordia, and possibly Hazard for a trip to Rupp.

PCC returns their best two weapons Johnson and Beverly. Losing 3 starters including 6'6 Cornett in the middle wont be easy to replace but the freshman coming in from PA, will help the Commodores chances of getting back to Rupp. The kid is only a freshman but kid is very talent and extremely athletic. The 14th region will be fun all year. I cant wait!

Do you have any more info about the kid from Philly? Has he been ruled eligible yet?
