I just wanted point out that some former Raceland football players have been getting some T.V. air time in College football lately. Former Raceland standout lineman Sebastian Johansson is starting offensive guard for Marshall and former Ram QB Tyler Boyles (Shawnee State, OH. grad/basketball player) is one of the offensive coaches with Eastern Kentucky. A lot of credit is due to former Ram football / current baseball coach Randy Vanderhoof for these guys success.

I apologize if this thread doesn't fit here. I just like giving kids/alumni credit where it is due.

Boyles also was an assistant coach at Raceland for the last two season prior to excepting the position at EKU.

Tyler was a "coach on the field" type player when he played, ran the team exceptionally well at QB. I think that should he want to pursue it that he will be an excellent football or basketball coach.

You are correct. He was like having a coach on the field, I know that is often overused, but it was a fact with him.

Plus, he was an assistant coach at Raceland in football while he was playing college basketball at Shawnee State University. Quite an accomplishment for a young man.
