What the future of Notre Dame look like as far as incoming freshman and current sophmores?

Doesn't ND have a new coach for this year? They always seem to be a very competitive team and I expect the same this year.

Just my opionion and I don't know everything about them, but I think the well dries up just a little after this year. Yes, they'll still have Smith (if she doesn't solely go to softball), but they lose a lot and some of the classes behind them are not as strong as they have had. They do get two good athletes that I know of that are good bball players, but like Smith, their main sports are other sports. (soccer and softball). So it will be hard to know if they will continue to play bball and how much time they will allot to it. They will continue to be good, but I think they will fall off from the last couple years (which would be hard for anyone to maintain). But it's ND and you never know who may end up on their doorstep!

Yes, NDA has a new coach. His name is Wyatt Foust. He was the assistant coach for Greenwood varsity boys team last year. I know that Kennedy Baugh from Simon Kenton has transferred to NDA. She should get some time of the bench on the varsity team as a freshman. I have also heard they a have a couple of freshman post players coming in that are 5-11 and 6-0 that are solid. It is going to be hard to replace the talent they have on the JR and Sr levels but you never know.

Just to be specific, Kennedy did not actually transfer from Simon Kenton. She never went to SK. She was an 8th grader at Twenhoffel Middle School last year.

It is very common for Freshman/JV coaches to also be Varsity assistants.
