Sam Letton 1st offer

Featured Replies

Congrats to LexCath tight end Sam Letton on his first scholarship offer from the Memphis Tigers! Should be the first of many for the big fella who's still only a sophomore. This offer is according to Rivals. I'll make sure to confirm. Sam is for sure one of the top prospects in the 2016 class for Kentucky.

Awesome news & another great student- (football) athlete helping put our state on the map. You know something I love about this? Here is a kid who is probably talented enough to play any skill position on the field (WR, DB, RB), including QB (which every skill kid and their parents think they can play). However, he fully understands (which, was probably passed down from his dad) that only ONE guy can play QB. If you are the 2nd best QB on your team, you don't play...but, if you are the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and even 7th (and, beyond) best WR on your team during this day in age with spread/pass heavy teams; guess what? You WILL PLAY & play a lot.

I just wanted to send my congrats, and also get that out there.....

Congrats to the young man!

Looks like Sam has some good size. How tall and how much does he weigh? He looks like a big target....

He's around 6'3 220 right now

That's an impressive-looking freshman. In addition to his size, some really soft hands. Best of luck!
