Lloyd Redman Passes Away

Lloyd "Pappy" Redman, a longtime Coach and supporter of JCPS athletics, and the Father of Bob Redman, and Grandfather of Chris Redman, has passed away. His obit was in the CJ this a.m.

 

Pappy was a fixture for years, and his succes obviously rubbed off on Bobby and Chris.

Bruin Prayers for Bobby, Chris, and the whole Redman family. I know he was very familiar with the grounds on which I now work and his impact on a coaching legend in this state probably can't be overstated. I hope my son admires me as much as Bobby obviously admired his dad.

 

Was always 100% pure class, encouraging, and complimentary to me as a young coach completely over-matched (talent-wise and head-coaching-wise) when going against Bobby's great Male teams.
