Clay County 2013/2014

Featured Replies

Basketball season for 2013/2014 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Clay County? Remember, please be constructive.

Biggest keys could be:

- managing the excitement and expectations around the program after their first trip to Rupp in over a decade

- replacing the production lost from the departing seniors (esp. Lyttle, Bowling, Reed, Rice, and Smith, who all played a lot of minutes this year)

They'll have McDaniel back (unless he doesn't play due to golf... he's really good and will likely get a solid D1 ride there), and he should be one of the top returning players in the 13th; In another post on this site, someone had listed Jake Allen as being there next year as well, which could be quite the 1-2/inside-outside combo in the 13th. Wes Wolfe will probably be expected to play bigger minutes this year as well (it seemed that his playing time rose steadily over the past year).

I am keeping Clay Co on my radar to come out of the 13th this coming year.

I do too. Clay will definitely be one if the contenders.

If true bout Jake Allen transferring to Clay Co, you would have consider serious contenders to repeat.
