2013 56th District Softball Tournament held at Powell County High School....(Assuming this year's tourney is like last year's both 1st round games on Monday with Championship on Wednesday)...Monday May 20-25 (District Tourney week)....1 vs. 4 would play 1st (5 PM).....2 vs. 3 would play 2nd (7 PM).

 

 

(1) Estill County vs. (4) Owsley County

(2) Powell County vs. (3) Lee county

 

 

Estill and Powell were suppose to play Powell County @ their place on May 6th but due to weather, the game was canceled...Game will not be made up because Powell said they couldn't beat Estill by enough runs (11+) to get the 1 seed...

 

Estill County Lady Engineers are trying for their 10th straight district championship (9th straight since joining the 56th district in 06).

 

Powell County Lady Pirates are trying to win their first district title since 2005 when they were back in the 55th district.
